We provide training classes to meet or exceed the requirements of South Carolina for the issuance of a concealable weapons permit.

We provide full service processing, including the rolling of fingerprints so that you will have the application packets ready at the end of the class.

Instructor Level Training

Our on staff NRA Training Counselor (Instructor trainer) can lead you through the process of becoming an NRA instructor, SC CWP instructor, or can provide after certification services as needed by newly certified instructors.

SLED SAFEGUARD Security Guard Training

Sled oversees and provides certification for SC security guard training only to certain exceptional instructors. We are lucky to have Bill Rentiers performing this service.

Bill can also train people for Georgia Certification.

Learn where the instructors train!

CDS, (Custom Defensive Solutions) presents firearms training courses including NRA instructor level courses, taught by National Rifle Association and US Concealed Carry Association certified firearms instructors, who are all certified by the South Carolina State Law Enforcement Division (SLED) to teach concealable weapons courses required to obtain the SC Concealed Weapons Permit.
 
Each instructor has his own specialties and courses in additon to the CWP classes, and we also coordinate with other instructors in the area to conduct additional training as requested. Custom classes and corporate group plans are available on request. Not all courses are NRA or SLED certified due to the content of the course.
Our on-staff NRA Training Counselor can train and certify you or your staff to become NRA certified instructors in a wide range of firearm disciplines!
 
We Also have the capability to teach firearms and self defense for the Handicapped, Deaf and Hearing impaired!
