Description:The NRA Chief Range Safety Officer course is an instructor course which will train you to teach the Range Safety Officer course.

Pre-requisites: In order to become a Chief RSO, you must hold the RSO rating or take that course as part of the Chief RSO course.

If you are not currently an NRA instructor, or have not taken the Basic Instructor Training course within the last two years, you must schedule and complete a BIT course prior to receiving the CRSO rating. This can be scheduled with us or taken from another Training Counselor, and may be taken in conjunction with any other NRA instructor course or as a standalone course.

Requirements: There is a written examination at the conclusion of the training. You must score at least 90% on that exam to receive certification.
